Monster Island, The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster, was released around the same time as Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is a story about an island that houses a monster.


Asylum can afford to spend a lot on food, so it makes good use of that money. The Asylum (published here) may not do too badly considering that this is the kaiju style.
